Statutul AIDA Romania 

Toti pasionatii de freediving sunt bineveniti sa participe la dezvoltare statutului si a organizatiei noastre prin platformele colaborative on-line puse la dispozitie de AIDA Romania 

 

Suntem organizatia nationala care reprezenta Romania in federatia internationala si fiecare dintre voi, freediveri romani, oriunde v-ati afla, aveti locul vostru in AIDA Romania. 

1. NAME, SEAL, JURISDICTION, CORE VALUES

1.1 Under the name “AIDA Romania”, the Romanian freediving community became a Member of Association Internationale pour le Développement de l’Apnnée (AIDA) on the 26th of October 2014.

1.2 The seal impressed on the top margin of this by-law shall be the official seal of AIDA Romania.

1.3 As the national organisation representing Romania in AIDA, AIDA Romania works towards a non-discriminatory support and representation of all freedivers across the nation (inside and outside the country borders)

1.4 The following are the core values governing AIDA Romania and shall be used as guidance whenever interpretations are necessary and for the prioritization of arguments in the decision making process:

a) Equity (non-discrimination). From the judgment of competition performances to the support and the representation of AIDA Romania Members, the principle of equity/non-discrimination shall prevail in all AIDA Romania activity.

b) Safety. AIDA Romania shall address safety through education and all available means.

c) Accessibility. As national organization, AIDA Romania shall consider the geographic and financial differences of its Members and act in such way to make itself equally accessible to all members as much as possible. All essential communication shall be on collaborative platforms online to address the issue of geographic distance and the membership fees shall be kept at the lowest level that still permits the existence of the organization. All additional fees shall be optional.

 

2. GOALS

2.1 For the development of the Romanian freediving, AIDA Romania has 3 strategic directions (Competition, Education and Community) which are split into the following goals:

2.1.1 The networking between all Romanian freedivers (cross-regional communication) minimum by publishing and updating annually the contact list of all Members and their location;

2.1.2 The centralization and communication of all information of national importance (e.g. national records, selection of the national team, elections, votes.)

2.1.3 The recognition, registration and publication of all Romanian national records for the various disciplines of freediving as detailed in Annex 1

2.1.4 The selection of the national team representing Romania at the World Championships as detailed in Annex 2

2.1.5 The application of international regulations in regard to competitions and records in Romania (organization of the national championship)

2.1.6 The promotion of all the instructors of the community and their courses (provided they respect the minimum quality standards)

2.1.7 The development and enhancement of media presence nationally and internationally.

2.1.8 The development of sponsorship opportunities for Romanian athletes, events and organizations.

2.1.9 The contribution to the development of the international freediving community and of the sport of freediving in general.

2.2 AIDA Romania may associate itself with other organizations (e.g. Freediving Romania).

2.3 AIDA Romania shall operate as a technocratic and not-for-profit organization.
